Hi everyone! There’s a lot going on at the farm right now, and I wanted to give a quick update on what we’ve been up to lately.
This month, we brought home six new baby Bantams from Tractor Supply. They’re super small and quick, and they’ve been fun to watch as they explore their brooder. We also just got 15 baby Rhode Island Reds from Cackle Hatchery! I’m really excited because Rhode Island Reds are great egg layers, and it’ll be cool to raise them from day one again. Taking care of chicks means a lot of feeding, cleaning, and checking on them every day, but I really like it.

We also got two bunnies in April! They’re living in the same area as the chickens and seem to be getting along just fine. They like to hop around the coop and find shady spots to relax in. It’s fun watching them explore and interact with the chicks—they’re curious but calm, and they’ve been a great addition to the farm.

Earlier this month, I traveled to Seattle to compete in the Speedcubing World Championship. I did Pyraminx, which is one of my favorite events. It was a really big competition with cubers from all over the world. Even though I didn’t make it past the first round, it was an awesome experience and I’m glad I got to be part of it. I learned a lot and I’m already looking forward to the next one.
That’s all for now—thanks for reading!
